Before your appointment.
A little preparation saves everyone from the thrilling diplomatic ritual known as “coming back a second time.”

Briefly explain the service or document you need. The office can determine whether the matter can be handled in Salt Lake City.
Confirm requirements
Ask what originals, identification, copies, forms or other materials are required for your particular matter.
Arrange your appointment
Public consular visits are handled by prior arrangement. Do not rely on an unscheduled walk-in visit.
