Background
Petr Macinka was born in Hodonín in 1978 and studied political science and international relations at the CEVRO Institute.
Office of the President
From 2008 to 2013 he worked in the Office of the President of the Republic, including service as Deputy Director of its Press Department.
Public life
From 2013 to 2025, Macinka worked at the Václav Klaus Institute. In October 2025 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies.
Foreign Minister
He was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs on 15 December 2025 and serves in the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.
